How to buy a car from China

STEP 1. VEHICLE SELECTION. Contact Horgos Auto to request a car from China within your budget. A personal manager prepares a calculation and provides the final cost including delivery to your city.

STEP 2. CONTRACT. The customer provides passport details and receives an official contract stating the final vehicle cost, specifications, delivery and customs clearance terms. After signing, an advance payment of RUB 100,000 is made to our company account. If the purchase does not proceed for any reason, the advance payment is refunded in full.

STEP 3. SOURCING. After the contract is signed, we search throughout China for new or used vehicles. For used cars, our specialists inspect the condition and provide a detailed photo report, video review and information about possible defects. If a new vehicle is unavailable, we place a request with the factory or dealer. The usual waiting time is 2–3 weeks. Every step requires the customer’s agreement.

STEP 4. VEHICLE PAYMENT. After the vehicle is agreed, we send an invoice for payment in China. Payment is made in yuan by bank transfer. When paying in rubles, the bank converts the funds at its current rate. Confirm that your bank supports the international transfer before sending payment.

STEP 5. SHIPPING FROM CHINA. Horgos Auto prepares the car for export, arranges the required documents and transports it to the Russian border. We use several routes and select one based on the destination region. Vehicles travel in covered car carriers and are fully insured during transport.

STEP 6. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE. After arrival, the vehicle undergoes customs clearance, safety certification and electronic vehicle passport registration. You become its first owner in Russia. Customs charges and duties are agreed in the contract in advance and paid through the customs authorities or a customs broker.

STEP 7. DELIVERY WITHIN RUSSIA. After paperwork is complete, we send a detailed photo report and arrange delivery by a transport company to your city. After collection, arrange insurance, a vehicle inspection and registration. We look forward to working with you. Horgos Auto.
